Madan Thangavelu started off as a robotics enthusiast. He founded a company to teach robotics at a number of universities. In his masters education, he was involved in machine learning research with a focus on dimension reduction algorithms for data classification. He has been weaving the web since early 2000 and is absolutely fascinated by the World Wide Web. ‘Machine learning’ and ‘Internet’ are his passions and is currently pursuing them in his role at BrightScope.
